"Grimdark Compendium I" is the first installment in a two-part grimdark ambient journey that takes you on a voyage to the far reaches of space where massive churchscaped megacities reign among the ancient stars. The ancient hulk of a once glorious Church-ship 'Ixion IV' returns from its journey across the stars to the Megacity of Gothium, only to find the abandoned monasteries. The vast cathedralic city solemnly stands among the vastness of the universe, echoing with the forgotten chants of a monastic order.

"Grimdark Compendium" is a set of pure dark ambient litanies with monastery chants inspired by Warhammer 40k.
